Gravity Boots Recording Studio offers a creative recording environment
while providing professional equipment and service.

Music is important. We promise great equipment and superior quality, always in service of great music - made by you.

Spacious and Versatile

Gravity Boots has enough space to set up your whole band and the know-how to capture whatever you dream up. In other words, we can track your 5-piece Baroque-funk-fusion band (consisting of drums, cello, bari sax, theramin, and emcee) live in the studio. Or your 3-piece punk band. Or make an affordable acoustic song demo. Ample recording space means that musicians can play and record – uncramped - as an ensemble. Real engineers mean efficient sessions and excellent sound.

Quality Equipment

Our quality equipment gives artists the benefit of a signal chain often found in pricier studios. That includes our vintage, all-tube microphone preamps and our Vintech Dual 72 preamp (which boasts the classic Neve sound that is a staple of popular recordings). Truly professional microphones and top-of-the-line plug-ins, along with our well-trained ears have given our clients uncompromised results during tracking, overdubs, and mixing. Both analog tape and digital formats are available. Drums recorded on tape can be wicked cool. We're not scared.

If your recording is already under way

Many home recording projects get bogged down during editing, fail to reach their full potential in the mixing stage, or are hampered by tracks that could have been recorded better. If you're recording some of your project yourself, use our expertise and equipment during the critical recording stages that could benefit most from a professional touch. Speed up the often tedious editing process and take advantage of our equipment and experience as we mix your songs with a seasoned perspective. Or, perhaps you need our microphone selection and acoustically treated space for your drum tracking or vocal overdubs. Either way, putting any part of your project in the hands of trained engineers and a great studio will pay off in your finished product.

Ultimately we want to facilitate good art. Your muse should be allowed to inspire your craft, confidently and comfortably. Allowing that to happen is the single most important thing we can do to ensure that your session is both successful and enjoyable.
